Gas powered blowers You need to avoid gas powered leaf blowers altogether. Instead use an electric leaf blower. As long as you don`t have a huge lawn an electric leaf blower will work fine. If you just have to have a gas powered leaf blower than look into the PB-460LN Quiet 1 by Echo or the 356BT by Husqvarna. The both produce less than 65DB noise while in full operation. Its still not quite but its much more tolerable to be sure.   Don t use an electric or gasoline leaf blower instead use a rake Unfortunately I have been pricing the quieter models and they are almost double the price of regular leaf blowers. That much of a price hike means only the rich or those who are forced by local laws will be buying these models. In time, I do think the trend will be to produce more hearing friendly leaf blowers because the manufacturers who don`t will see their sales slump, as municipalities begin to set new noise laws controlling leaf blower noise pollution.   Gas blower least noise There is no quiet blower.
