Q. I need dog boots that will stay on?

The ones that work the best go up to the dogs elbow and tie over it. That way its impossible for them to come off. I also found some neat shoes at the dollar store believe it or not, and they have stretchy Velcro, but in the end they come off. Like I said the only real solution is ones that tie above the dog`s elbow.

Q. What is the best adhesive to use to keep your full lace wig to stay down in the back of the neck?
it's getting hot and i need an adhesive to help keep my lace wig to stay down at the neck area something safe that does not cause me headaches

"Pull the wig down and attach the lace to the adhesive..."

the most important thing is to make sure the glue is dry before you attach the lace, regardless you are using no-tape or ultra-hold. If it is very hot you must do 2 things. 1. After putting ultra-hold/no-tape at the back of your neck and letting it dry, try putting strips of super-tape or no-shine tape around the perimeter on top of the glue 2. Once the tape is down and you removed the backings be sure to put another thin layer of adhesive on top of the glue. Allow it to dry. Bend your head forward, pull the wig down and attach the lace to the adhesive. Rub around the perimeter in a circular motion, so that the adhesive adheres to the skin. You may also blow dry the perimeter on cool setting for 5 minutes. Adhesives can be purchased at http://www.manetainbeauty.com/Hair_Wig_Care_s/24.htm

This answer closely relates to:
  • Lace wig adhesive
    • Is there a wig that will stick to my head so it won`t fall off or move while i bend over?
    • How to stop wig from moving when i move or bend over?
    • How to keep a wig on your bald head?

Q. I need to know what kind of wig will stay on during intense physical activity.?
i am a cheerleader for my college, and we are going to nationals on march 21. i am shaving my head for cancer funds and donations for a good friend of mine on march 14. i am in the dilemma that i would most definitely be out of uniform with no hair. i just need a nice looking wig that would be able to stay on while flipping and jumping. i'm just not sure what type would fit. thank you!

"They are formed to your head and stay on through suction..."

I have alopecia and have worn almost every type of wig. The BEST wigs are the silicone-based vacuum-sealed wigs. They are formed to your head and stay on through suction. BUT, they are about $3,000 and take months to create. So that's probably out of the question. If you're shaving your head completely bald down to the skin, you'll have to get a wig that can be taped. I used to use double-sided toupee tape. It is very strong (some stronger than others, of course). Go to a local wig boutique and someone can help you find that type. If you're going ot have a little bit of hair left, a cheap wig can easily be bobby-pinned to your natural hair. Good luck!

Q. How can i get my wig to stay on?
i really want to wear a wig i bought to a concert i'm attending this month, and obviously there will be a lot of jumping, dancing and headbanging and it'll probably fall off...how can i get it to stay on? @clydesdale44 *cries uncontrollably* i've always wanted a basement, i would be living in it if i did so i have to face the outside world now and have a life...this is a touchy subject. and its mum. not mom.

"It and if you don't already have wig glue then go get some from..."

this is what you do if you have bobby pins pin it and if you don't already have wig glue then go get some from any wig store they will hold it. this glue goes on the front edge of the wig and the back edge of the wig. it goes on clear and doesn't sweat off. Hope this helps.

Q. How do i make my wig stay in place?
nope i'm not bald underneath, but i want my natural hair to get a little thicker. i know i can use bobby pins, but how? i have a stocking cap and before i put it on i cornrow my hair. am i supposed to stick the pins through the stocking cap?

"You adjusted the wig to fit your head..."

You adjusted the wig to fit your head, correct? Because wigs are adjustable. Don't put it too tight, but tight enough that it has a grip to your head. And yeah, you should put the bobby-pins through the wig cap, and latch them onto the wig. Other than that, it's difficult to keep a wig in place, unless it is an invisible hairline wig, and is specially made for you. Wearing a headband of some sort helps a lot with keeping wigs on, plus it can be really cute. Other than that, there really isn't much you can do about it.

Q. How do you get a wig to stay on your head?
okay this might sound weird but i am going to shave of all of my hair to let it grow out all natural. so i am gonna get a wig but how do you keep the wig on if i don't have hair underneath to secure it to? thanks

"So just get a very tightly fitted wig..."

I was about to suggest bobby pins but you are shaving off all your hair, so just get a very tightly fitted wig. Oh and subscribe to my youtube channel about natural hair and beauty(I'm natural myself =). http://youtube.com/bunicornaces
