Q. How to stop wig from moving when i move or bend over?

"So your plate doesn`t slide around while moving..."

I have found a little trick. I use that rubber high friction place mat material they use for motorhomes so your plate doesn`t slide around while moving . This only works until oil from your scalp lubricates it and then it doesn`t work. Has anyone from something that really holds on.

Q. Is there a wig that will stick to my head so it won`t fall off or move while i bend over?

Ok please don`t laugh. I use two sided tape I get from the dollar store. Its sticks like glue. The tape sticky stuff shampoos out. Tom Pannie, Idaho.

Q. How to get my dog to stop barking with a collar?

"Dogs don`t like this smell but it doesn`t harm them in any way..."

Wow. After just 3 days with the citronella spray dog collar, my dog has stopped barking almost entirely.... wow its so awesome. I hardly believe its the same dog. If you have a dog barking problem you have to try this. I don`t know the brand I bought but its a dog collar that sprays a citronella (lemon smelling) mist in front of your dog every time he barks. Dogs don`t like this smell but it doesn`t harm them in any way. If I had only found this years ago. Well I hope this post saves someone else a lot of dog heartache.

"A few different adhesives out or even adhesive combinations to see which one gets..."

Yes, the security of your lace unit depends on the strength of the adhesive you use. Not all adhesives work best with everyone. I suggest trying a few different adhesives out or even adhesive combinations to see which one gets you the most secure bond. Once bonded correctly, your unit should not lift. Q. Full lace wig:silky straight or light yaki?
hello! i have brought a lace wig before, but it kept matting and tangling everytime i moved my head( if anyone knows how to minimize this let me know) so now i want a light yaki or silky straight(i'm pretty sure these will not tangle as much). the only thing is inexpensive light yaki lace wigs are hard to find...and i would like to try the silky straight but i dont want it to look unatural on me. i am african american( a sahde darker then tyra) and i want the wig in #1(jet black). my hair is naturally like regular african-american hair that needs to be relaxed everyweek. for a picture www.myspace.com/angel4ya so please let me know if the silky straight would look very "fake" on me or not. tha

"The issue is buying cheap lace fronts and full lace wigs..."

The issue is buying cheap lace fronts and full lace wigs. Some things you can get for less price and its still good quality but the reason lace wigs range to such a high price is because you are paying for quality hair and labor. The best ones are single strand hair hand sewn in using the best human hair. Im not saying get a $6000 wig but there are so many for $100-$150 I see today that people are wasting there money on wondering why it wont last long and why it gets nappy so quick. It is an investment. You can get a lace wig repaired, professionally washed, etc. so buying one for $250-$500 is worth the investment if you will be using it overtime. If you are getting a full wig the texture does not matter unless you will keep out your own baby hair which some people do to make it look even more natural. Obviously if that is the case then the yaki will match your hair texture better. Both work but since you are getting the wig to get different hairstyle/easier texture try the silky straight. If you are worried about natural looking the biggest issue I see is that women get the standard sizes versus customized wigs. Customized or not, make the wig maker or stylist thin out the front for you/create a progression in density. Naturally do you ever see a thick patch of hair start right from your hairline? No, you see it progress in thickness as your hair goes back from hairline to nape of neck. This is a dead giveaway for a lace wig if your hairline is a forest of hair. bad: http://lovemylacewigs.files.wordpress.com/2008/10/img_0310.jpg http://ep.yimg.com/ip/I/yhst-15076557306827_2059_2498032 good: http://www.mysunshines.com/i/lace%20wigs/Lace_Wig_bmp.jpg As a side note, I hope you typo'ed and dont really mean you relax your hair weekly or else you will have a hair 911 lol.

    • How much money do you get for a set of long human hair in great condition for a wig?
    • How long after hair replacement surgery can you swim?
    • Is hair loss reversable or and i going bald?

Q. I just purchased a wig.(i have thinning hair)how do you keep it from itching?
the wig looks great. i have enough of a hairline of my own that i can pull some out over the front and it doesn't look fake. it also would move around as i moved my head so i bought hairclips. that problem is solved. but it itches terribly. a wig cap is out, since i need to clip it into my own hair and that would tear the cap. is there anything i can do? it seems to be mostly around the edges. maybe some velvet ribbon sewn over the band? all tips are met with gratitude.

"Clips at all and the wig will stay on even if i roughhouse with..."

You don't have to clip wig caps to your hair. They're very snug and have a nice grip to them (both to scalp and wig), especially if they're netted/mesh. Most mesh wig caps I've tried actually have such a nice grip that I don't need to put in pins or clips at all and the wig will stay on even if I roughhouse with friends.

Q. How can i suddenly get rid of my wig?
i'm a thinned headed guy so i started wearing a wig last april. around the same time i moved to a new job and i have always been with my wig on. but the tightness of the wig on my head has caused much more hairloss and i really want to get rid of it. i wouldn't feel much awkward if i move to a new environment but that will take some time. i feel really awkward about all of a sudden going to workplace with a bald head. surely everyone will comment about it. i'd rather be someone who don't care about what others think but i don't feel strong enough to dare. please advice.

"I really think you should just stop wearing the wig right now..."

I really think you should just stop wearing the wig right now. You need to keep in mind that this is a much bigger deal to you than it is to anyone else. Yes, you will get some comments. You should practice responding to those comments before you go to work without the wig. You could say, "I just decided to stop wearing it," or "I decided to go natural" or whatever. The important thing is for you to act like it's no big deal. Most people will forget about it within a day. Sometimes it's helpful to remind ourselves that we are not the center of the universe!! You might want to decide in advance that you're going to reward yourself for getting through the day. Like doing something you enjoy with a friend/loved one right after work: having a drink, going to a movie, cooking your favorite meal.

Q. Why are there so many disgusting insects and spiders in the uk?
i was in the shower and this disgusting ear wig type thingy was on the wall. it was very long and thin. a few days later i got a towel out of the cupboard to get another shower and when i looked on my towel there was a similar looking insect to the one i see on the wall a few days earlier crawling around on it. i had to throw my towel in the wash and i now check my towels thoroughly each time i take a shower. i am also sick of seeing those huge house spiders on the wall and floors. there huge; like mini taransalors (don't know how to spell it lol). they have big head and huge legs. what is going on?? we live in the uk not autsralia or south america somewhere?? why we get so many disgusting creatures??? i am thinking of moving to iceland or somewhere seriously. kurci_kurtis - you would expect disgusting spiders / insects in australia and other parts of the world but not in the uk. this is my point. we have shit weather; no volcanoes, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc. there ain't nothing tropical, or exotic about the uk so i just don't understand why we get these sort of things. are they attracted to the rain or something??
