    Q. I need dog boots that will stay on?

The ones that work the best go up to the dogs elbow and tie over it. That way its impossible for them to come off. I also found some neat shoes at the dollar store believe it or not, and they have stretchy Velcro, but in the end they come off. Like I said the only real solution is ones that tie above the dog`s elbow.

    Q. Do lace front wigs really stay on?
i want to get one but dont want anyone to know i have a wig on. do they stay on during vigorous activty or even if someone pulls your hair?

"I have seven lace front wigs which i wear in rotation (not..."

I have seven lace front wigs which I wear in rotation (not because I don't have any real hair but because I like the way I can change my look daily). With vigorous activity your wig can slip so it's important to wear a wig cap over your real hair to avoid slippage and if someone pulls your hair and the straps aren't tightened properly it can come off. What I like to do when I know I'm going out dancing is to put some white extension glue on the hair line of the wig and attach it to the skin just below the natural hairline. You need to get the kind of glue that comes in black or white and peels off, not liquid gold or anything that is applied with a brush. It comes in a squeeze bottle and you can buy it online or from most wig and extension suppliers. This should hold all night and avoid slippage and be easy to remove with some oil based product in the morning and peel away from the inner hairline of the wig.

    Q. How do lace front wigs stay put?

Go to www.affordablelacewigs.com under the tab on the left side named Lace Wig Care...Good luck Step One -- Prepare Your Hair 1. Wash hair. 2. Create a flat surface -- braid hair in small cornrows to the back, or wrap hair in beehive and cover with cap. Step Two -- Prepare Your Face 1. Wash face and neck. 2. Swab forehead and nape with alcohol to remove excess cleanser residue and oils. 3. Apply scalp protector to forehead and nape Step Three -- Prepare Lace Wig 1. Pull lace wig hair back into a big hair clip. 2. Clip baby hair back with small bobby pins, or hair clips. 3. Cut lace back to hairline using small sharp scissors. Step Four -- Apply Lace Wig 1. Apply thin layers of adhesive around perimeter of hairline. 2. Position lace wig on head with hairline rolled back. 3. Bond lace wig to forehead. Start at middle point -- move from one side to the other. Then bond at nape. Removing Your Lace Wig One of the keys to maintaining your lace wig for a longer life is gentle handling of the lace. It is vital to allow the adhesive remover to work and completely release before attempting to remove your lace wig. Allowing the lace to completely release will also preserve your natural hairline. 1. Spray, or using an eyedropper, drip adhesive remover, through the lace unit on the hair side. 2. Wait for wig to completely release. If needed, spray, or drip, remover between lace until and skin to ensure a clean release. 3. If there is glue remaining in lace wig, use the Mirror Slide to remove the glue. The Mirror Slide is one of the easiest methods to safely remove glue residue from holes in the lace. 4. MIRROR SLIDE -- Push the lace side of the wig firmly against a mirror and simply drag, or slide wig down the glass. The glue will pull out of the lace and deposit on the mirror. 5. Wash lace wig to clean and remove any remaining residue. 6. Use Knot sealer to prevent lace damage and hair loss. * Most people wash their lace wig unit before removal. It easier to wash while on your head then remove, remove all adhesive then gently rinse well around perimeter. Either way will work well and maintain your lace wig unit for years.

    Q. How does lace front wigs stay on? like wont they fall off..?
ppl say the glue but it doesnt seem stable...like i dont want a wig because i always fear they will come off...but i heard lace fronts they glue the edges but it still isnt stable...or is it?

"I have been wearing lace wigs for a while now..."

Hi. I have been wearing lace wigs for a while now, and apply wigs to my clients. The length of time that you can get a wig to say on varies from person to person. Don't worry about it falling off as you will find that it will not - at least you will feel it slipping first. At Stylish Lace Wigs - we get a better hold by double layering the adhesive or attaching tape as well. The best holds are when we have cleaned the application area with 99% alcohol to remove all residue, applied a scalp protector and waited the appropriate time before attaching the wig.

so i was watching a video of tina turner performing "proud mary" with one of my best friends, and she was amazed at how her wigs stayed on during her performances amidst the very involved dance sequences. if anyone has any ideas, i'd appreciate them.

    Q. What is the best adhesive to use to keep your full lace wig to stay down in the back of the neck?
it's getting hot and i need an adhesive to help keep my lace wig to stay down at the neck area something safe that does not cause me headaches

the most important thing is to make sure the glue is dry before you attach the lace, regardless you are using no-tape or ultra-hold. If it is very hot you must do 2 things. 1. After putting ultra-hold/no-tape at the back of your neck and letting it dry, try putting strips of super-tape or no-shine tape around the perimeter on top of the glue 2. Once the tape is down and you removed the backings be sure to put another thin layer of adhesive on top of the glue. Allow it to dry. Bend your head forward, pull the wig down and attach the lace to the adhesive. Rub around the perimeter in a circular motion, so that the adhesive adheres to the skin. You may also blow dry the perimeter on cool setting for 5 minutes. Adhesives can be purchased at http://www.manetainbeauty.com/Hair_Wig_Care_s/24.htm

    Q. How do wigs stay on??????????/?

There are a few ways. If the person wearing the wig has hair, some have little clips that clip direclty into their hair (like the Jessica Simpson Hair-Do hair pieces). There's also toupe tape which is a double sided sticky tape with an adhesive that can stick to human skin and the texture of the hair piece (formulated to resist oils and sweat). Another product that may be used, but very rarely, is spirit gum. It's used to stick objects to skin, moslty used for theatrical purposes.

    Q. I need to know what kind of wig will stay on during intense physical activity.?
i am a cheerleader for my college, and we are going to nationals on march 21. i am shaving my head for cancer funds and donations for a good friend of mine on march 14. i am in the dilemma that i would most definitely be out of uniform with no hair. i just need a nice looking wig that would be able to stay on while flipping and jumping. i'm just not sure what type would fit. thank you!

"The best wigs are the silicone-based vacuum-sealed wigs..."

I have alopecia and have worn almost every type of wig. The BEST wigs are the silicone-based vacuum-sealed wigs. They are formed to your head and stay on through suction. BUT, they are about $3,000 and take months to create. So that's probably out of the question. If you're shaving your head completely bald down to the skin, you'll have to get a wig that can be taped. I used to use double-sided toupee tape. It is very strong (some stronger than others, of course). Go to a local wig boutique and someone can help you find that type. If you're going ot have a little bit of hair left, a cheap wig can easily be bobby-pinned to your natural hair. Good luck!
