Hi. I have been wearing lace wigs for a while now, and apply wigs to my clients. The length of time that you can get a wig to say on varies from person to person. Don't worry about it falling off as you will find that it will not - at least you will feel it slipping first. At Stylish Lace Wigs - we get a better hold by double layering the adhesive or attaching tape as well. The best holds are when we have cleaned the application area with 99% alcohol to remove all residue, applied a scalp protector and waited the appropriate time before attaching the wig.

Q. If and when you fall behind at work do you stay late or still work your schedule?
we all have those long meetings or the client that wigs out and takes up your entire day. you don't get anything you planned to accomplish done. i end up staying late or coming in early maybe three to four times a month. i have a coworker who leaves at her scheduled time no matter what. she takes long lunches and complains of how far behind she is and how worried she is she will loose her job. she has no kids not married but still leaves promptly everyday. then once a month takes a ton of work home to finish over the weekend. i guess as long as she gets it done but does that not make sense to me. i hate working at home. also the stress of being behind haunts me i like to make sure i am caught up by friday every week. so if and when you fall behind at work how do you deal with it

I either come in early to catch up or stay late (which is not my first choice). However, I also would not save it for one weekend in the month to complete it. What if something is needed before then? Then your colleague has no one to blame but herself if she looses her job. I would make sure that come Friday, everything is taken care of and I don't have to think of work on my weekends. Once you leave the office, you should not even think of taking it home with you. Otherwise, you have no recuperation period. Also, there is nothing more un-inspiring than starting a Monday with mounds of work just waiting for you. In my experience, there are too many people out there willing to take your place if you fail. And with less of a salary - companies do know this.

Q. How can i get my wig to stay on?
i really want to wear a wig i bought to a concert i'm attending this month, and obviously there will be a lot of jumping, dancing and headbanging and it'll probably fall off...how can i get it to stay on? @clydesdale44 cries uncontrollably i've always wanted a basement, i would be living in it if i did so i have to face the outside world now and have a life...this is a touchy subject. and its mum. not mom.

this is what you do if you have bobby pins pin it and if you don't already have wig glue then go get some from any wig store they will hold it. this glue goes on the front edge of the wig and the back edge of the wig. it goes on clear and doesn't sweat off. Hope this helps.

i am doing stage combat which is fake fighting and i dont wan t the wig to fall of so i was thinking of using spirit gum which is use in movies for latex stuff for example zomebie skin and so i was thinking just putting it on my for head for it to stay in place. i meant just on my for head

you part your hair from ear to ear, like a long bang going all the way across your hairline. you put the wig on, it has combs underneath for the front and back of your hair.it wont come off.then you comb your real hair back (the bang) over the wig so that it blends in. The best brand to buy is the Terri brand they have a huge selection of styles lengths and colors.

Personally, I wouldn't but I guess some people bobby pin them in. I also hear you can put spray in conditioner to keep it from getting staticy. BTW I love your hair in your pic :)

Q. Women wearing wigs/extensions/weave?
hi ladies, i am asking this question because i am really curious about this..... why do you wear false hear, how does it stay in, are you scared at any time that it will fall out or a fella will try and run his fingers through your hair and pull out some of it, or the whole wig/extensions or weave? i have long hair and think it is nice to have, but it is heavy and i was considering cutting it off and just putting false hair in when i want pretty long hair but have fears about false hair or the like... you see my problem? please don't attack me for asking this question.. i just want to know how other women feel about this and handle it. please also tell me what prices a person is looking at to have any or all of these things done to hair. thank you ladies for taking the time to answer this question.. also, is there a difference in price between caucasian and ladies of color? sorry, i wasn't real clear, or just didn't mention it. the hair i have is pretty long, and thick, it is really very pretty but, i have severe headaches at times and my hair is heavy, if i put it in a pony tail, it hurts even worse ... it is just plain heavy and gives me a bad headache at times.. now, i am real lucky to have nice hair, but, the headaches have gotta go... years ago when i cut all my hair off, my headaches all but went away.. i just figured since i like long hair, i might cut off my hair to lessen the headaches but use "fake" hair every now and then to get the "look" i want... and i have always wanted to ask the question about why folks wear them anyhow.... you guys are great answering my question and helping me out... thanks to all of you... and have a nice night

I don't wear weave that much, but it's not bad. If you want tracks, which is weave that looks like real hair, then you would either part your hair and glue it on your scalp or you would get your hair braided to your head horizontally and get it sewn in with a needle and thread. If you get a good hairstylist to do your hair then you won't have to worry about if coming or falling out, but you can't get tracks wet. If you want braids, then all you do is braid the weave into your hair. Now, our weave (I'm a black female) comes in various prices, but the good weave is expensive, and I would assume that white people's weave would cost more, because of the lack of usage.
