It happened to me and it was horrible. It was a windy fall day and I was on a first date and we came around the corner of a building and a huge gust of wind blew my hair piece right off onto the road. I ran after it and a car was coming so I had to back off. The car ran over it. My date was laughing at me, it was so horrible. Luckily she also fell in love with me and is now my wife :)

I hair piece blew off while I was proposing and landed in the ocean. (I was proposing on a pier). It was horribly embarrassing. Luckily my fiance said yes and she is now my wife and we laugh about it now. Anyway I feel for you.. but I don`t have a solution yet.

i have a curly faux hair wig and i don't want to wait the whole day to let it dry. i was thinking since your not supposed to apply heat to faux haired wigs, i could blow dry the wig with cool air. can you do that?

i would not recommned it. it may melt,become dull looking or brittle and break off.

i was wondering if you can temporarily color synthetic wigs, like with those sprays and blow dry colors without damaging the wig or does it have to be real hair?

If you use a special color you can. Take it to a beauty supply store and ask them.

no because it will fry it it is not good to straighten real hair ither it makkes dead ends + frys it

The only wigs that you can blow dry would be the expensive ones like real human hair. The others are made from synthetic fibers and such which come from plastic. That could cause you to catch something on fire or to possibly melt and damage your wig. The best thing to do with your wig is to find out what it is made out of and go from there.
