Q. Can wind blow off wigs?

"A building and a huge gust of wind blew my hair piece right off..."

It happened to me and it was horrible. It was a windy fall day and I was on a first date and we came around the corner of a building and a huge gust of wind blew my hair piece right off onto the road. I ran after it and a car was coming so I had to back off. The car ran over it. My date was laughing at me, it was so horrible. Luckily she also fell in love with me and is now my wife :)

This answer closely relates to:
  • Wind blows wig off
    • When the wind blows it feels like my wig is going to blow off?
    • Do wigs fall off in wind?
    • If it s windy do wigs fall off?

Q. When the wind blows it feels like my wig is going to blow off?

I hair piece blew off while I was proposing and landed in the ocean. (I was proposing on a pier). It was horribly embarrassing. Luckily my fiance said yes and she is now my wife and we laugh about it now. Anyway I feel for you.. but I don`t have a solution yet.

Q. Will half wigs stay in place in wind?

In my experience, no they don`t stay on unless you use a good tape or glue.

Q. Whats a good way to make sure your wig doesn't blow off in a massive wind storm?

Buy a monkey and keep him on your shoulder and have him hold it in place. plus people will love your monkey enough to not care you wear a wig.

Q. The wig and the wind...help!!?
i have a little...well big problem. i wear a wig most of the time and it's really great except for one thing. every time i go outside and there is any wind my wig gets totally messed up. that's never been a big problem until now. i'm taking this photography class and it starts tomorrow, but i've taken it before (before i got the wig) and most of the class is spent outside unless it's terrible weather. so, now i have this dilemma....what in the heck do i do to keep the wig from vlowing everywhere??? my other problem is that the bangs conceal that fact that it's a wig and they blow everywhere as well. should i try hairspray, moose, or what?? thanks in advance, my class starts tomorrow...ahhh!!!

try a hat: some clips & a headband or cute scarf =]

Q. Do men find it more attractive for a fairly pretty woman with hair loss to wear a wig or?
is a high quality wig or shaving the head entirely and going "bald, bold and beautiful" more desirable? i am a fair skined formerly blonde, green eyed, athlete with full lips, little wrinkling, good jaw line- sad to see my hair blowing off in the wind though- advice from the men? please?

"I'd say go with a wig..."

I'd say go with a wig, but make sure it doesn't look fake. Try to find one that kind of looks like the hair you had before. To tell you the truth, bald kind of scares me.

Q. How can i stop a wig wham i made for my baby green beans that are in a largeplanter?
keep the wind from blowing them to one side and leaning need to solve it before beans start to climb up the cains ( one hole bottom of pot) chow

I had a similar problem last year. This year I thought I'd try tying a couple of lengths of string or wire to the top of the wigwam and anchor them at the bottom of the planter (on the outside) on the windy side.
