Mice bird feeder problem - how to stop mice from coming to my bird feeder?

This is such an incredible problem for me. I have tried everything and now I am on the verge of getting rid of the bird feeder. Please somebody please rescue the poor starving birds around my house in the winter by telling me how to get rid of my mouse problem that has come about because of all the spilled seeds. Birds are really pretty but they are also very messy eaters. They spill more seed than they eat.

Can mice go in a mattress?

I`d like to know what I can do as well, but I`m nowhere near psychic. I`ll probably be closer to psychotic unless I get some SLEEP! I cannot find ANY entry point in my mattress for a mouse, but can feel it moving around...which doesn`t make sense since there`s all that padding between the springs and the pillow top. I spend a lot of time in/on my bed because of severe back issues, so this is driving me NUTS! Not to mention that when any other human being tries to hear/feel what I`m describing, they feel NOTHING. I`ve forced myself to lie there thru the initial feelings of movement to make certain it`s not just me or my nerve damage from my spine, but after a few minutes the bed feels like it`s actually "shaking" (kinda like when you feel an extremely small earthquake, or a garbage truck/semi rolls down the street,) We`ve got extremintors coming out here tomorrow (Thank you God) but I had to tell you that reading these posts assured me that I am NOT insane, and though I don`t wish this on anyone, it`s nice to know I`m not alone.... esp since those nasty little vermin seem to enjoy tormenting only ME.

I've never felt anything like it. I actually think they're drawn to body warmth and poke around when I lay down. It's really disconcerting. I thought at first they were just in the box springs but I think someithing's in the mattress too. The movments are very very subtle and you can only feel it if you're absolutely still. So gross, my new mattress is on it's way.

I have called on different occasions three different pest control companies which have come to the house and found no evidence. These rodents have not been responding to the traps I have put out either. I have no idea what to do about this. If anyone can tell me what they did? I too have spent so much money on new mattresses a while back, plus all the money for these different pest control technicians to come.

To reply to the question above, yes I am a Christian, and I don't see ur reasoning of asking in this blog. I live alone. I asked my father to come over and told him about the sofa and bed....he said i was crazy....and then took me to a shrink. I don't drink. I use drugs. I don't lie. I do have some thing living in my bed. I have found entry in the box springs but not matress...but every tim I sit dwn on it w/o sheets to see if I'm crazy, lol, whatever it is, moves the bed and heads my way. Sounds like it's tearing the bed.If u stand back to look bed, u can c the areas where material stuffing is uneven. I'm thinking of just cutting in with a butcher knife so I may be vindicated. March 2012....

No, there is no mouse or rat poison that will prevent the animal from decomposing after death and thereby emitting a foul odor. The smell is from the decomposition of the body.

Can mice climb onto your bed?

om im sooo freakin scared its like 3 mice in my apartment i brought traps but i jus ct sleep my fiance is not scraed like everything is okay soeone please help me im really scared of one getting n my bed..

Someone said: When I was a student I once saw a mouse climb a thin cable running from the floor to a table, from which it could get the food!! I would not have thought it possible, until I saw it. That was the only way for this little critter to get on the table where the food was!! They are so agile, so the answer is yes, they can easily scale verticals, unless they are so smooth as to prevent any adhesion.
