The others are made from synthetic fibers and such which come from plastic. That could cause you to catch something on fire or to possibly melt and damage your wig. The best thing to do with your wig is to find out what it is made out of and go from there. You could also let it air dry. Good luck and hope this helps!

Q. Can i re-glue the wig back on my my twinn doll myself or do i have to send it to the doll hospital? i've had my my twinn doll since 1997 and her wig fell off and has gotten really tangled since then, after i wash and blow-dry her wig can i glue it back myself or do i have to pay the $15.00 to get it glued back on by them?

Just pay the $15 to make sure it is done correctly and securely. If you don't use the right glue, it might not stay attached, and then you'll have dried glue mess all over it too.
They migh talso comb the hair and clean the doll for you (included in the $15), so I say it's worth it to pay the money.

you can do whatever you want to it if it real hair. but it requires upkeep too. go to a wig maker store or call them to find out how. i have a merle nroman near me idk if you do, but if you do call them they should be able to tell you
Q. How much to charge for shaping up and styling a wig? i am a hair stylist and my clients are senior citizens at a senior apartment complex. i charge $15 for a cut and blow-dry and have a client who wants her wig done and do not know what to charge her.

I think that you should just see how long it takes you to cut the wig . If it takes you the same amount of time as a regular cut then I'd charge the same. If it's more difficult to cut or section then I'd charge a little more.

Can i curl my wig with just a regular rollers and not the iron curler? ok i plan on buying this wig. this wig is made with human hair (50%) blended with new generation kanelalon heat resistant synthetic fibers (50%). it says that it can withstand heat of blow-dryers and curling irons. my question is can i curl it with just a regular rollers and not the iron curler?
if i use boiling water will it damage the human hair?
Regular rollers would actually be better for your wig against getting damaged.
